Nat Van Unveiling
May 27, 2016, Crowsnest Pass Health Centre
Foundations from the Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod helped purchase a new wheelchair-accessible non-ambulance transfer (NAT) van. The new van will be based in Fort Macleod and will be accessible for patients from the Highway 3 corridor. The new van, which went into service last month, helps free up ground ambulance resources by transferring low-risk, medically stable patients between health care facilities. The NAT van is equipped with automated electric defibrillators, first-aid kits, GPS, and communications equipment.
